Do you have a top that collects dust in your closet because you don’t have the right bra to wear it with? Do you ever try to wear it anyway, but still annoyed at how visible the bra is? No problem! With the many variations of bras styles, we’re sure to find the right bra for you that’ll hide perfectly behind that top. Whether it’s a low neckline, halter neckline, or a racer back top -- all of these play a major part in what bra you end up wearing. Here are some of the bras we carry that I can recommend to work well for your shirts:
Balconette:
For any shirt you may have that comes with a square or scoop neck line , a balconette bra may be a better solution where you won’t see your cup. The half shape of the bra offers less coverage. A couple of great examples I’d suggest would be the Panache “Envy” or Sculptresse “Chi Chi".
Low plunge:
This bra will pair perfectly for the shirts you have that come with more of a V-neck line simply because this bra also has more a featured v-shape with its' lower gore in the center. I recommend one of our usual go-to plunge bras such as Natori’s “Cherry Blossom” or Elomi’s “Lucie”.
J-hook:
Of course for your dress or top that has a racerback in the back, I recommend a j-hook bra. These will feature a specialty hook that can convert your straps to hide nicely under your choice of top. A couple of our most popular J-hook bras are Elomi’s very own “Matilda” or Wacoal’s “Halo” bra.
Strapless:
This one may seem a little self-explanatory. For your sleeveless top or maybe even a more unique neckline that seems other bras wouldn’t work with, go strapless. I’d recommend our must-have Wacoal “Red Carpet” Strapless, or another great choice -- the Sculptresse “Dana” Strapless.
There are plenty of other bras to choose from, and you may feel certain sizes have limited options. But that’s not the case at all! Any bra in the correct size will provide support. Stop by the store, and we will be more than happy to assist you in finding the right style for your pieces.
